Old Turf started with an old label. Two horse heads, hand-lettered blackletter, and a name that sounded like Kentucky.

We liked everything about it, so we kept the look and made a bourbon to match.

Old Turf is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, eight years old. We slow proof it down to 92, a nod to the old way, and we don’t chill filter it. The mash bill is 78% corn, 13% rye and 9% malted barley.

It comes from the owners of Blackout Barrel Company, and it’s bottled exclusively for Turf Cafe in Louisville, Kentucky.
